Bowes Bend subdivision drainage and repaving

Drainage work is scheduled to begin Monday in the Bowes Bend subdivision. Road closures will be necessary at two locations due to the replacement of crossroad culverts. The affected areas are at the intersection of Tributary and Bowes Bend Drive, and at Bowes Bend Drive and Channel Court.

During the closures, residents and visitors will need to use the entrance off Crawford Road as a temporary alternate route.

Additional pipe will also be installed along Bowes Bend Drive and Tributary to improve drainage and help dry out the ditch in Bowes Bend.

Repaving projects for Bowes Bend subdivision, Creek Wood subdivision, and the Plato's section of Crawford Road from Creek Wood to Bowes Road will proceed later this month or in October. The bid for this work has been awarded, but a pre construction meeting with the paving company has not yet taken place.
